The Short Version
This website uses one third-party tool, Microsoft Clarity, which helps us see how people move through the site. It sets cookies and records how you interact with the page.
Nothing loads until you allow it. Clarity is not in this page's code when it reaches you. No script is fetched from Microsoft, no cookie is set and no data is sent unless you press Allow on the banner. Decline and the tool is never loaded at all. You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of any page.
Everything else on this site, including the fonts and images, is served from our own domain.
We do not run advertising pixels, retargeting tags, or visitor de-anonymization tools, and we do not sell or share what Clarity collects.
What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let a site recognize your device on a return visit. Some are set by the site you are visiting, and others are placed by third-party services embedded in it.
The Cookies This Site Sets
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Roughly how long |
|---|---|---|---|
| _clck | Microsoft Clarity | Keeps a Clarity identifier for the browser so repeat visits can be linked to one session history. | 1 year |
| _clsk | Microsoft Clarity | Joins the page views in a single visit into one session recording. | 1 day |
| CLID, ANONCHK, MUID, MR, SM | Microsoft | Set on Microsoft domains in connection with Clarity, for identification and fraud prevention. | Session to 1 year |
Cookie names and lifetimes are set by Microsoft and can change without notice from us. Microsoft publishes the current list in its own documentation.
What Microsoft Clarity Collects
Clarity records how visitors use this site: mouse movement, clicks, scrolling, which pages are visited and in what order, plus technical details such as browser, operating system, screen size, approximate location derived from IP address, and referring page. This is assembled into session recordings and heatmaps that we review to understand which parts of the site people actually read.
We use it to improve the site. We do not use it to identify you personally, and this site has no forms, logins or payment fields, so there is nothing of that kind for it to capture.
Clarity is operated by Microsoft, and the data it collects is processed and stored by Microsoft under its own privacy terms. Microsoft may use that data in line with its own policies, which we do not control.
What We Do Not Use
- No advertising or retargeting pixels, including Meta and Google Ads.
- No Google Analytics.
- No social media embeds or tracking widgets.
- No visitor identification or de-anonymization platforms.
- No embedded fonts, maps, videos or scripts from any other third party.
Advertising and measurement technologies are used on our clients' own websites and advertising accounts, under those clients' own policies. They are not used here beyond what is described above.
Opting Out
The first and simplest way is the banner itself. Press Decline and Clarity is never loaded. If you already allowed it and want to reverse that, use the Cookie settings link at the bottom of any page and choose Decline; Clarity will not load on any page after that. Cookies already set by a previous visit are cleared through your browser, as below.
Your choice is remembered in this browser's local storage, on your device. It is not a cookie, it is not sent to us or to anyone else, and clearing your browser data will make the banner appear again.
Most browsers let you block or clear cookies through their settings, including on a per-site basis. Blocking cookies for this site stops Clarity from linking your visits.
Browsers that offer a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, and browser level tracking protection, will also limit or block Clarity. Microsoft additionally provides its own opt out for Clarity in its documentation.
Changes To This Policy
If we add or remove any technology that sets cookies or sends data to a third party, we will update this page and the date below at the same time.
